Art frustration

So I've been talking about this manga/comic idea thing I have. The premise is pretty much done (just needs a bit of fine tuning as and when I realise certain bits are stupid XD) and I have been trying to come up with some character designs but it's just not happening. I have the characters in my head but I can't seem to get them out of my cranium and onto paper, if that makes sense.

It isn't helping that mum has recently become very ill, so my mind isn't really focusing on very much right now. :/ Ugh, this is just SO FRUSTRATING. ;___; /sobsobsob
